What exactly is The Crafted Path?

The Crafted Path is a down-to-earth Etsy consultancy for creative business owners. I help handmade sellers simplify, strengthen, and grow their shops with friendly, jargon-free advice. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to fine-tune a shop that’s already running, my goal is to make Etsy feel less overwhelming and more rewarding.

Who are the Etsy Shop Audits for?

My shop audits are perfect for makers who want clear, honest feedback and practical next steps — without the fluff or jargon. Maybe you’ve been feeling stuck, unsure why sales have slowed, or just want a fresh pair of eyes on your listings. The audit gives you simple, actionable insights you can implement straight away.

What happens during an Etsy Shop Audit?

Once you book (depending on your selected audit I may send a short pre-audit email first to ask about your shop, goals, and any challenges you’re facing) I’ll then take a careful look at your shop including listings, titles, descriptions, photos, pricing, branding and more — highlighting what’s working beautifully and what could be refined. You’ll receive a written review by email with easy-to-follow recommendations, plus one follow-up email where you can ask any questions after reading through your audit.

How long does it take?

I aim to begin audits within 1-3 days for your purchase date and they are completed within a day.

Do we meet live during the audit?

No, my audits are designed to be flexible and easy to fit around your schedule (and mine). Everything happens over email, so you can read and reflect in your own time. If you’d like more one-to-one time, you’re always welcome to book a follow-up session for deeper mentoring.

How do I know if this is right for me?

If you’re an Etsy seller who values creativity, community, and kindness — you’ll fit right in. I work best with makers who are open to learning, ready for honest but kind feedback, and looking for guidance that feels realistic and sustainable, not pushy or overly technical.

What if I’m completely new to Etsy?

You’re more than welcome! I love helping new sellers find their footing. A shop audit can help you start strong — with a clear sense of direction, a better understanding of how Etsy works, and practical steps to get your first listings off to a great start.

Can I book ongoing support after my audit?

Absolutely. Many sellers like to start with a smaller audit to get a feel for my approach, then continue with tailored mentoring sessions or ongoing support. Together we can craft a personalised plan that fits your pace, goals, and lifestyle.

If your shop is so successful, why are you also running The Crafted Path?

Great question — and one I completely understand! My first business runs smoothly these days thanks to years of refining, simplifying, and building solid systems (and a small team who help things tick along). I’m incredibly proud of what I’ve built, but I’ve also realised that one of my favourite parts of business is connecting — chatting with other makers, troubleshooting together, and sharing what I’ve learned along the way.

The Crafted Path grew naturally from that — and it gives me a flexible way to work around my little one and pour my energy into something that feels meaningful: helping other creative sellers find balance, clarity, and success on their own terms. I also continue to run my shop which is a huge passion and I’ve challenged myself to reach the top 1%!

Why haven’t your disclosed your shop here?

Two reasons. Firstly if you send a bunch of people to look at your shop and they don’t buy anything it harms your conversion rate and tricks Etsy into thinking your shop is undesirable. Secondly, copycats are a huge problem in the Etsy world. However I am happy to disclose my shop to clients I’m working with if they ask.

I’m nervous about feedback — will it be harsh?

Not at all. My style is kind, encouraging, and constructive. I’ll always highlight what’s working well before suggesting improvements. My goal isn’t to criticise — it’s to give you the clarity and confidence to make your shop the best it can be!
